Frequently asked questions

Does Momoo require an account?

No. Momoo does not require login, account registration, password, or social sign-in.

Does Momoo work offline?

Core gameplay and your progress work on your device. An internet connection is used when available to complete in-app purchases and load product details, fetch remote configuration, send analytics and crash reports, deliver optional notifications, download optional remote mascot assets, and show rewarded ads where they are enabled. When you are offline, those features are simply unavailable while you keep playing.

What data does Momoo use?

Momoo does not require an account, and your game progress is stored on your device. The app uses Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, App Check, and Cloud Messaging if you allow notifications), may use Google Cloud Storage to download optional remote mascot assets, offers optional in-app purchases through Apple (StoreKit), and may support optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob where enabled. Momoo does not request App Tracking Transparency and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) to track you. Full details are in our Privacy Policy:

Does Momoo have ads or in-app purchases?

Momoo offers optional in-app purchases (such as Gems) through Apple’s App Store — buying is always your choice, and the game is fully playable without them. Apple processes payments; Momoo does not receive or store your card details. Momoo may also support optional rewarded ads in some versions or regions if enabled. Rewarded ads, when available, are optional and are not required to play the core game — for example, to continue after a Game Over or to refresh the Mission Board. Where ads are shown there are no banner or interstitial ads, no ads during the memorize/tap phase, and Retry/Home are never blocked.

Do my purchases restore if I reinstall?

Because Momoo has no account or cloud save yet, consumable items like Gems and locally granted purchases may not automatically restore if you delete and reinstall the app or switch devices. Apple-restorable, non-consumable items can be restored through the App Store. Momoo keeps a local purchase record on your device to avoid duplicate grants and to support a future account/restore option.

How do notifications work?

Notifications are optional. Momoo asks for permission only when you opt in (never on first launch). You can turn them off any time in your device settings.

How do I unlock more Pet Champions?

Pet Champions unlock as you reach higher Best Levels in Classic gameplay. Current unlocks are based on Classic Best Level progress.

What is Daily Trial?

Daily Trial gives you a new local challenge every day. It uses local game data and does not require an online account.

What happens when I reset progress?

Reset Progress clears levels, stats, achievements, unlocks, and local completion progress. Your Sound, Haptics, and onboarding/settings preferences are kept.
