Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2, 2026
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ParentPilot AI ("ParentPilot AI", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "App").
ParentPilot AI is a daily parenting assistant for parents and caregivers of children aged 0–5. It offers daily activity plans, milestone guidance, and product recommendations. ParentPilot AI is not a medical app. It does not provide medical diagnosis or medical treatment advice (see Section 11).
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Who is responsible for your data
ParentPilot AI is the party responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at any time at parentpilotai@gmail.com.
3. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve the App:
a. Child profile data you provide. When you set up a child profile, you may provide your child's name, birth date, gender, country, and an optional avatar image. This information is used to personalize the daily plan, milestone guidance, and recommendations for your child's age.
b. Activity and milestone data. As you use the App, we store your activity progress (activities viewed, started, completed, or skipped) and your milestone progress (milestones you mark and their status). This lets the App keep your plans and progress in sync.
c. Account and authentication data. The App signs you in using an anonymous account by default and can later link to Apple Sign In or Google Sign In if you choose. We store the account identifier needed to keep your data associated with you.
d. Subscription status. If you purchase a subscription, we store your VIP entitlement status (whether your subscription is active). Payment and billing are handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat — we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
e. Ad-reward events. When you watch a rewarded ad to unlock additional content, we record the reward event so the App can grant the unlock.
f. Analytics events. We collect product-usage analytics (for example: app opened, onboarding completed, a plan generated, an activity completed, a paywall viewed). These help us understand how the App is used and improve it.
g. Crash and diagnostic data. We collect crash reports and basic diagnostic information so we can find and fix problems.
h. Device and technical data. Like most apps, we and our service providers may process technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, language, country/market, and similar data needed to run the App and our analytics.
4. Privacy-careful analytics
We intentionally limit what is sent to analytics. We do not send your child's name, birth date, exact location, or health details to analytics. Your child's age is sent only as a derived value (an approximate age in months) so we can show age-appropriate content. We do not include private notes or sensitive personal identifiers in analytics events.
5. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- create and personalize your child's daily activity plan and milestone guidance;
- save and sync your progress across sessions;
- show relevant product recommendations;
- operate subscriptions and rewarded-ad features;
- understand usage and improve the App's reliability and content;
- detect, prevent, and fix technical problems and abuse;
- communicate with you, including optional push notifications.
6. Third-party services we use
We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the App. These providers may process some data according to their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read. They include:
- Firebase (by Google):
- Firebase Authentication — anonymous sign-in and optional Apple/Google sign-in.
- Cloud Firestore — stores your child profile, activity, milestone, and related app data.
- Firebase Storage — stores images such as avatars and product images.
- Firebase Analytics — product-usage analytics (privacy-limited as described in Section 4).
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash and diagnostic reporting.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — push notifications.
- Firebase Remote Config — feature configuration and tunable settings.
- Google AdMob — serves rewarded ads within the App.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription entitlements (the
vipentitlement). - Amazon Associates and Shopee Affiliate — affiliate links used in product recommendations. When you tap an affiliate link, you are taken to the relevant store, which processes your activity under its own privacy policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Apple and Google also process purchase and account information when you sign in or subscribe through their platforms, under their respective privacy policies.
7. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only:
- with the service providers listed above, so they can perform services for us;
- when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this policy.
8. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as you use the App or as needed for the purposes described here. When you request deletion (see Section 9), we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to meet legal obligations.
9. Your choices and how to request data deletion
You can:
- review and update your child profile within the App;
- change your language at any time in Settings;
- manage push notifications through your device settings;
- manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple or Google account.
To request deletion of your data, email parentpilotai@gmail.com from the address associated with your request and tell us what you would like deleted. We will respond and process your request within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, or portability); contact us at the same address to exercise them.
10. Children's privacy
ParentPilot AI is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children, and is intended to be used by an adult. The child information in the App is provided by the parent/caregiver to personalize guidance for their own child. We handle this information with care and limit what is shared with analytics (see Section 4). We do not knowingly allow children to create their own accounts. If you believe a child has provided us information without a parent's involvement, contact us at parentpilotai@gmail.com.
11. No medical advice
ParentPilot AI provides educational and informational content only. It does not provide medical diagnosis and does not provide medical treatment advice. Milestone and any health-related features are informational and tracking/reminder tools only and are not a substitute for professional medical care. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical, developmental, vaccination, diagnosis, or treatment questions. See our Medical Disclaimer.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including the security features of our service providers, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. International data transfers
Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where this happens, those providers apply their own safeguards under their privacy policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
15. Contact us
Questions, requests, or concerns about privacy or data deletion:
parentpilotai@gmail.com
Waitlist & early-access email
If you choose to email us to join the waitlist or early-access list, we may receive your email address and any information you include in your email. We use that information only to respond to your request or to notify you about early access and launch of ParentPilot AI.
We do not sell this information and do not collect it through an automated form. To be removed from the list or to request deletion of any waitlist email you sent us, email parentpilotai@gmail.com.
Social sharing
The App may offer an optional, you-initiated way to share a short message about ParentPilot AI (for example, after you complete an activity). When you choose to share:
- It is optional and only happens when you tap a share button — there is no automatic sharing.
- It uses your device's system share sheet. The text is handed to your device's built-in sharing menu, and you pick the app or contact to send it to. That destination app then handles the message under its own privacy policy.
- We do not access your contacts or address book. ParentPilot AI never reads, requests, or uploads your device contact list.
- We do not collect the shared content or who you shared with. ParentPilot AI does not receive or store the shared message, the destination you chose, or the recipient.
- The shared text contains no personal data about your child — no child name, no birth date, and no health information. It uses generic, non-identifying copy plus the parentpilot.xyz link only.
